All I Need is You – Psalm 119

God woke me up again today and continues to remind me, Jesus + nothing is all I need. He reminded me of this psalm.

“Thy Word”; the first song I ever recorded (40 years ago) and one of my favorite Scriptures (Psalm 119:105).

🙏🏻 Lord Jesus, I thank You for Your word that gives me hope, refreshes my soul & body with peace and joy – the authentic & never ceasing kind that only You can give.

Thy word is indeed my lamp to my feet, and THE Light to my path 🕯️. I don’t need to keep searching when I have YOU – the jewel of all jewels living inside of my heart.

When I am tempted by the enemy of my soul to take matters into my own hands or seek wisdom elsewhere – in addition to or outside of Your already established Guide, which lights my way day by day, continually fill me with Your Holy Spirit🕊️ – Your very presence – as I suit up with the armour You have provided for this spiritual battle🛡️, and turn my back to the sin that seeks to entangle me. Amen 💜
