Welcome to my journal! Thanks so much for taking the time out of your busy day to visit! I’m Karah and writing has been a passion of mine for many years but only recently have I begun to see that I might have something to say that others can relate to via a blog so, I created “Journal of a Warrior’s Journey” (aka JWJ).
I actually started with just a blog feed but…what’s a girl with an old web design certificate, living in a currently semi-locked-down COVID-19 state to do? Yep, write more content so stay tuned for more!
In the Bible, Ephesians 6 tells us to “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.” A warrior puts on their armor daily. A warrior prepares for battle; but not just maybe (which I hope none of us has to face) a battle in the physical world, but even more importantly – the spiritual realm. If you’ve spent any amount of time on this planet, you’ve probably seen that there’s more to this life than we can see with our human eyes. We are all called to be spiritual warriors then, are we not? I think we are.
So, here, we are going to explore what it means to stand, as Ephesians 6 states – which can also mean to fight – whether we are fighting for peace in our hearts and homes, peace in our communities, or peace in the midst of chaos – something which we can certainly all identify with (especially thanks at least in part to the year 2020).
We are going to look at how God – if we let Him – will hold us up when we know we just can’t do it on our own anymore. That is the stuff that makes us rise up folks – that which defies logic. God doing for us, what is impossible for us to do without Him. He says we matter to Him and I believe it 100%!
