What If…

When I first wrote this, 9/1/2020, the country was preparing for a general election. We had no idea what was to come. Well, actually some of us did, but this is not meant to be a political posts with all of the post election day lawsuits, recounts, audits and protests. Its where I am trying to keep my focus in the chaos.

Unfortunately, there is a rift happening in the USA. Gone is the time when we were able to speak freely without censorship, share our points of view in not only public, but with people we do life with, without fear of judgement or worse yet, violence. Its like Satan has been given a new lease on life, although that is partially biblical, we don’t have to let him ruin our country.

I pray its not too late to go back to loving each other – saving our relationships, and freedoms (1A, 2A +). We don’t have to agree on everything, but we’ve got to agree on core beliefs of what made this country amazing – why we had the revolution to begin with. We broke away from the tyrannical King of Great Britain and all that stood for, remember? We were being controlled as colonists. We didn’t have the independence we needed to thrive. We knew we could do it better here – and we have, but we are losing it, I fear.

We need to get back to the “why” this great experiment began in the first place, cuz it’s the last place on earth that still has a foundation built on liberty and freedom. Start within. Golden Rule stuff y’all. Before its too late. Lets hit our knees like never before. God help us.

I had planned on posting more often and I have to say, that I have probably written a few pages (to put it mildly) but just did not feel like I needed to post what I wrote; until today. So, today as I’m writing, I felt compelled to share this on my personal Facebook page – which actually was the catalyst for me taking the plunge and starting my official blogger Facebook page as well (@Karahsblog). Which is kind of amusing since it was only a few weeks ago I nearly deleted my FB account. God had other plans.

With so much tension and stressful events, hearts and minds in our society right now, I couldn’t help but thinking…What if…

🍁we viewed the people we disagree with as actually as caring as we view ourselves? Would that change HOW we discussed issues of importance?

🍂we omitted labels and name-calling from our debating with each other (and sincerely apologized when we did – ‘cuz, nobody perfect)?

🍁we took time to mirror each other’s concerns – like this: “I understand you to say that you feel/believe/fear/see/need (xyz) etc…), is my understanding spot on or no?” (Try again if not, isn’t your relationship worth it?).

🍂we believed the BEST about each other and not the worst? #moregoldenrulestuff

🍁we got real and acknowledged none of us is or will ever be perfect?

You may not agree, but I believe there are many forces working for our allegiance – spiritual warfare is happening in our country (and in the world) especially right now so here’s a thought…or three:

1) can we view anger as mostly being rooted in hurt, unforgivness, and fear?

2) can we consider the possibility we just may have a codependency & love confusion issue that may influence our belief systems? and;

3) can we entertain the possibility that evil (spiritual realm affecting the natural) exists (apart from & in addition to hurt people hurting people).

Can we have softened hearts and tongues? I think so. I believe our perspectives and human view of each other would change if we did seriously consider these possibilities as probabilities.

Again – these are my beliefs but it sure does make sense that some of what is happening in our world is yes – our own human dysfunction & pain, but not all of it so I pray we have eyes to see and ears to hear the truth in every situation.

Let’s truly love each other – not just those who agree with us because y’all, that’s not really love at all 🤎
