“I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]”
Philippians 4:13 AMP
Isn’t it comforting to know? That not only have our souls been rescued but we have the power to live this life and do what God has called us to do because He gives us the strength and empowers us to do so! I mean, can we let that sink in? 🙌🏻
Now I do feel like this particular scripture can be taken a bit out of context sometimes. In the graphic that I posted, which is a different translation, the word is “everything”, yet in the amplified version, it simply means what God has actually called me to do.
I say this, because certainly early on in my walk, I have applied this to situation’s that may or may not have been what God initially wanted me to do. But of course, I am still here therefore, He has indeed been extremely faithful! Thank you Jesus!!
So, how about you? How have you seen God continuously show up and give you strength and empowerment to do what He has called you to do? Be sure to thank Him for that today and share that testimony of what He’s doing in you – through you – with someone else He puts in your path.
