Blessed to Bless

Nothing – no blessing is ever out of God’s ability!

But do you believe that we are blessed to be a blessing?

I like to say, that when we “live blessed” we are acknowledging the fact that we already have what we need in Christ; we are His & we are saved to tell others of His saving grace and goodness. Tangible blessings are over and above that, but with the grateful heart – we recognize once again, we need to “give it away to keep it” (a universal recovery term that is totally biblical too).

Nothing we have is ours anyway, it’s on loan for our purposes here – for God’s purposes. See my recent post on the desires of our heart.

We can bless others with what God has blessed – entrusted to us – so then how would you walk that out today?

Hint: it’s not all about money. And it’s not about giving-to-get. It’s about being a cheerful giver in whatever way God calls you to give. Because we know He provides all we have and all we’ll ever need anyway.

Ironically, therein lies the reciprocal effect; we give of ourselves, as God fills us, equips us, and directs us, from our joy and we receive joy – and so much more.
