Whether it’s things, jobs, people, pets (I’ve experienced all of it +), all will pass away in one form or another from this temporary world, but God’s love, forgiveness, promises, second chances – His mercies – never fail, never run out; He is eternal and loves you & me eternally.
The losses? Yea, of course they hurt and some can even linger as we move (or revisit, or have stuck moments) through stages – and we need to grieve – we must for healing – but we can run to God and fall into the never-ending loving arms of our Father; we can trust in His faithfulness.
As we lament, let us be confident in this truth – God’s mercies are new every day. He is what we need; I know He is what I need 🩵.
